Civil War Tribute Quilt - Block of the Month

Civil War Tribute Quilt - Block of the Month

Product Details

Approaching the 150 year commemoration of the American Civil War, Marcus Fabrics and Judie Rothermel partnered with Homestead Hearth to create this block of the month program for 2010.

The quilt features 48 prints from Marcus’ Civil War Tribute Collection designed by Judie Rothermel.  It showcases a variety of sawtooth and star blocks, each representing a major battle fought during the war.   This reproduction quilt, when complete, will recall the drama of this significant era.  The Civil War Tribute collection encompasses the historical accuracy and current appeal for which Judie is well known.   Highlights include an antique toile-inspired design and commemorative print denoting key battle locations and leaders, depicting both southern and northern points of view.

The Civil War Tribute BIM includes the fabrics and pattern needed to complete the quilt top and binding.

Backing can be purchased at a 20% discount when participating in the program through our shop.

Program runs from January 2010 to December 2010.
